FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence precautionary boil water advisory for the water customers located in the 1500 – 4500 Blocks of Old Marion Highway, Sand Pit Road, Phoenix Road, Deena Lane, Nena Lane, Creekside Drive, Wildcat Road, Woodville Road, 2100 – 2300 North Williston Road, and The Country Club of South Carolina is lifted.
Following intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by the City of Florence. The results of this sampling indicate that the system is safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
