Celebrated each year in September, the City Center Market commemorates the Cultural Garden's harvest by sharing its produce, offering tastings of traditional cuisine, providing gardening tips, and featuring demonstrations of traditional dances that highlight the culture represented in that year's Cultural Garden.
This year, we’re excited to celebrate the Latin American culture by featuring foods commonly grown and enjoyed across the region. These crops, brought here through the Columbian Exchange over 500 years ago, have since become deeply rooted in the history and culture of our state, each with its own unique story to tell.
