Current Winter Weather Advisory Update
Florence is expected to receive 0.10 inches of freezing rain later this afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures are expected to stay around freezing for much of the night.
Freezing rain will create treacherous driving conditions, especially across bridges, overpasses, and other elevated road surfaces.
Please avoid all travel if possible; however, if you are traveling please keep these tips in mind:
- Drive slower
- Leave more distance
- Slow your acceleration
- Avoid sudden braking
