Garbage Collection
COLLECTION DAYS BY ROUTE:
INCLEMENT WEATHER
During inclement weather situations, such as hurricane, tropical storm, snow, or icy conditions, the Sanitation Division will attempt to operate, and each resident may choose whether or not to put their roll cart and recycle bin curbside. If the Sanitation Division suspends service, an announcement will be made via the City of Florence website as well as various news and social media outlets. If the Sanitation Division is able to provide service during or post weather event and your roll cart or recycle bin was not out on the day of service, your next available service date will be the next week. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. You are advised to tune in to your local television or radio station during inclement weather to find out if the Sanitation Division is operating on it's regular schedule.
