Join the City of Florence Planning, Research, and Development team and Bolton & Menk on Thursday, August 22 to share your ideas and opinions on the revision of the City of Florence Design Guidelines for Downtown Florence.
During this public workshop, Bolton & Menk and the City of Florence will share information and seek input on the project, which is set to be released later in 2024.
Design standards in the overall Redevelopment District, Historic District, and Timrod Park Neighborhood will be covered during the workshop and included in the guidelines. Business owners, residents, and visitors to Downtown Florence are all invited to join the workshop to provide input into the document.
When completed, the Guidelines will include standards for architectural features for private property and the public realm including sidewalks, street furniture, and streetscapes. For more information about this project, contact Alane at azlotnicki@cityofflorence.com. The workshop will be held in the City of Florence Council Chambers, 324 W. Evans Street at 5:30 p.m. on August 22.
