Scheduled Road Work Along Barringer Street from E. Pine Street to National Cemetery Road Beginning Monday, July 15th

UPDATE: Due to equipment issues, Duke Energy is rescheduling the right-of-way maintenance along Barringer St. to begin on Monday, July 15th.
FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence would like to notify the public of a temporary work zone along Barringer Street from E. Pine Street to National Cemetery Road starting on Monday, July 15th that will restrict traffic on Barringer Street to one lane. The road work is anticipated to last the entire week to facilitate Duke Energy’s removal of tree stumps and overgrown vegetation obstructing the right-of-way.
The attached map indicates where the scheduled work will occur. Motorists are asked to take alternate routes to avoid this area if possible. If you must travel through the work zone, we urge caution and adherence to all posted detours and traffic instructions to ensure everyone’s safety.
