City of Florence is Now Accepting Applications for the Second Round Distribution of Opioid Recovery Grant Funding

FLORENCE, SC – The South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund Board (SCORF Board) was created by the South Carolina Opioid Recovery Act, to administer and distribute funding in accordance with the terms of settlement agreements resulting from the In re South Carolina Opioid Litigation.
The City of Florence serves as a participating political subdivision for the South Carolina Opioid Recovery Funding to authorize funding requests. Applications are now being accepted and the deadline for these requests is 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Applicants can apply online at https://bit.ly/4b6bOZ8
Applications will be reviewed by City Council at the July 8, 2024, City Council Meeting.
