City of Florence to Hold Investiture for Newly Appointed Municipal Court Judges

FLORENCE, SC: The City of Florence will hold the Investiture for two new Municipal Court judges on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 6:00 pm in City Council Chambers at the City Center, 324 W. Evans Street. The Honorable Rangeley C. Bailey, who currently serves as a part-time Municipal Judge, will preside over the ceremony.
Mr. Marcus L. Woodson will serve as the Chief Administrative Judge of Florence Municipal Court overseeing the criminal and livability courts. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, and then obtained his Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
Mr. Marsh A. Julian will serve as a part-time judge in the Municipal Court. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science from Francis Marion University, and then obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Council Member Chaquez T. McCall chaired City Council’s Judicial Committee who selected the newly appointed judges and said, “He is proud of the hard work by the Judicial Committee and believes these newly appointed judges to be very knowledgeable of the law and exceptional selections as judges for the City of Florence Municipal Court”.
