City of Florence Continues Groundwater Production Improvements with Oakdale Groundwater Plant Restoration

FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence Utilities Department is continuing its efforts to make improvements to the city’s groundwater system by reinstating operations at the Oakdale Groundwater Plant. Beginning Monday, July 22, 2024, the plant will resume service, and is expected to significantly improve water pressure for customers in this area.
While every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience to our customers, some temporary discoloration may occur during the plant’s restoration process.
