Rental permit applications and payments for the 2025-2026 fiscal year are due June 30, 2025.
If you received a letter from the City of Florence and do not own any rental properties, please give the Planning Department a call at (843) 665-2047 or email at rentalpermits@cityofflorence.com so we can update our database.
If you no longer intend to rent out your residential property/unit between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, please contact city staff to obtain a Waiver Signature Card.
If you now own 5 or more units or if any are now owned in a business or corporate structure, please contact city staff to update your information and receive directions to obtain a business license.
