For these reasons, it is illegal to possess, transport, or discharge fireworks within the City of Florence. Only with a firework's permit from the state can your event include fireworks. Permit requirements include specifications on the launching area, the number of fire personnel that must be present during the display, and stipulations on the presence of a licensed pyrotechnic operator at the firing.
