WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF YOU ARE PULLED OVER BY AN OFFICER?

If you see a blue light in your mirror, pull slowly to the right and stop in a safe place.  If you are on a secluded and dark road, you may proceed to a location that provides more light.  Be sure to slow down and drive slowly until you find a more secure place to stop.

If the officer pulls behind you after you stop, turn off your engine and stay in your vehicle.  Please  remain calm and do not make any sudden moves.  Find your driver's license and vehicle registration.  If the officer requests that you get out of your vehicle, please do so.  Follow the officer's instructions.
